Inpainting

image

Regenerating only a selected (masked) region of an image while leaving the rest untouched. Paint over the area you want changed, describe the replacement, and the model fills it in so lighting and style match seamlessly. It is the go-to technique for fixing hands, swapping objects, removing photobombers, or changing clothing without regenerating the whole image. Practical tip: mask slightly beyond the object's edges and describe the full desired result, not just the change. Example: mask a cluttered table and prompt 'clean wooden table with a single espresso cup'.
