Resolution

image

The pixel dimensions of an image or video, like 1024x1024 or 1920x1080 — more pixels means more detail and larger usable sizes. Generation models have native resolutions they perform best at; forcing extreme sizes directly often degrades quality or fails. The professional pattern: generate at the model's sweet spot, then upscale the final pick. For video, resolution multiplies cost fast — 4K is roughly four times the pixels of 1080p. Example: generate drafts at 1024px, choose one, and upscale it to 4096px for print instead of generating at 4K from the start.
